Working Group

About

The Green Assets Working Group is a collective group of prominent stakeholders that will work together to develop and create wealth building opportunities for low and moderate income communities within the emerging green economy.

Vision

We envision an environmental movement that generates wealth and good health for all communities.   We envision all communities having access to safe and clean land, air, water and food.  We see a movement where all residents and small businesses are active innovators and stakeholders in our efforts to fight global warming that result in equitable economic policies and wealth creation for underserved communities.

Goals

1.  Develop holistic economic models that lead to new economic opportunities for California’s low and moderate income communities.
2.  Successfully fight the assumption that environmental policies have regressive impacts on underserved communities and communities of color by proving that win-win models work.
